Fun & Modern Patina Green Chair

Hey all!

We've been spending the majority of our weekends road tripping around New England. My boyfriend and I are both super into furniture hunting and poking through flea markets so its the ideal way for us to unwind after a busy and stressful week.

During our travels we have been picking up furniture (a couple things for us here and there), but mostly items for my awesome customers.

I love to be able to find unique pieces and then work with them to make their vision come to life.

Now, this chair, was actually pretty amazing as is. But, I will admit, it had an older, more dated feel.

My customer wanted General Finishes Patina Green (which she recently saw me use, here) to make this piece vibrant and eclectic.

The carvings on this chair are just gorgeous and I am so happy that the addition of paint preserved this special detail.

For fabric, we picked this graphic black and white Greek key print. It adds another level of modern to the chair and pairs perfectly with the paint.

Overall, I'm really in love with this transformation. It went from stuffy to modern to with just a couple of easy changes!

  1. Love the turquoise color you painted this chair Angela and the Greek key fabric adds even more punch. This is a chair that says "hey, look at me"!
